Hey gang! Hope all's well in your worlds! Things are doin' alright on my end. Ronnie signed divorce papers yesterday. *bummer*. but i came thru that alright. it's just strange seeing him now & being so distant from one another now. We have very little to say to one another anymore. Guess it's best that way in the long run. I don't hate him or camping anything like that. We just seem to have drifted way apart from one another.
Life with Billy rocks on. It's a lot different with him. I'm around people a lot more. His kids are around a lot, and even mine are around more. I see my sister more now too.
Billy's son Bobby & I rode 9 miles this morning. 1 1/2 hrs of riding. My knee was screaming at me by the finish, but we had a very nice peaceful ride, which I had needed very much. It was an overcast morning with a breeze which made for fairly cool riding for the most part. The horses were very cooperative today. (jubi & mama horse).
Mama horse seems to indeed be pregnant. I had her bred to a Tennessee Walker back in June. So there will be a foal in May perhaps. They carry 11 months. I'm excited at the prospect of her having a new one on the farm. New life. New beginnings. Something to really look forward to.
I'm fixin' to print out some new pics to put on my wall of grandbabies. We visited Nate & his little family recently, as well as with Manda & her family. The kids are all doing great. The babies are growing like weeds. My own family seems to have drawn closer since Billy & I got together. They're supporting throughout this rough time in my life. Even Bill's been understanding about some of my emotions. Afterall, 18 yrs of marriage is hard to break from. It's been a huge change in my life. Of course, Billy was married for 15 yrs when they divorced, so he understands the emotional toll. My kids are being very supportive thru this, which has surprised me to no end. Especially on Amanda's end. Nate's really standing up for me; even see thru Ron's drinking problem.
Ron's drinking like a fish. Starts first thing in the morning. No coffee. just straight to the beer. I just don't get alcoholism. I could fight him over a woman. ONe can't compete with alcoholism though. Especially when one doesn't think they have a problem. Sad really. But there's nothing I can do about it. Oh well. that's that.
